What Causes Severe Eyelid Spasms?

Question: My right eyelid has been twitch into my cheek and right ear since before Christmas. It is every day, all day. It is making me crazy. I get enough sleep, I don't drink caffeine, I have a normal stress level. My eyes are not dry, I use eye drops just in case. I do no have allergies. I have been to an allergist, an eye doctor and my GP. Now what. I am loosing my mind over this eye twitch.

Hi, thanks for your query. Since you are hypothyroid pt, eyelid twitching can be because of reduced calcium. Please take calcium tablets 500 mg daily 1 tablet for 3 months. Electrolyte imbalance can also be the cause. For this get a serum electrolyte level done. If there is any imbalance, consult the doctor and get evaluated. Hope my answers have helped you. Thanks.
