Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Dear Sir,

Severe pain after intake of food especially if its colicky( intermittent squeezing like pain which comes suddenly and goes off suddenly to only recurr back) suggest the Intestinal colic. It would be more helpful if you could provide the site of pain.

I would suggest you the following which will definitely provide the much needed relief
1. Antispasmodic like Drotaverine or Hyoscine Butyl Bromide will relieve the spasm.
2. Continue Carafate and Pepcid
3. Soft diet
4. Avoid spicy/oily food
5. Avoid caffeinated / carbonated beverages

I hope there is no associated nausea/vomiting or bowel complaints.

Do get back to me for any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Take Care

Brief Answer:
To consider possibility of Cystitis

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Greetings

I hope she is fine now

Presence of whole lower abdomen pain in post menopause lady ( I assume she has attained menopause as she is already 50 years) I would consider the possibility of Cystitis especially if it's associated with urinary symptoms like burning urine or increased. Exact diagnosis will depend on the exact site where the pain is more localized and also present or absence of associated complaints.
Is she having any urinary or bowel complaint? Any associated loss of appetite during pain? Any fever?

Do get back to me.
If the pain recurr she will require assesement by Ultrasound of abdomen depending on clinical presentation.

Take care

Best Regards
Dr Deepak

She still gets her cycle. No urinary pain complaint, no issue with bowels at all. Pain is lower abdomin and severe lower back pain as a result of abdominal pain.

Pain was 4-5 hours after food consution. Today she ate spagettos and was ok today for most part. Then this evening ate frozen pizza at around 9:15pm and pain became severe 1:30am.
