Question: My wife had dialysis this afternoon. This evening her fistula is throbbing. Is this a problem?

Thronbosis of the av fistula leads to throbbing, it can also mean impending closure of the fistula.
Please approach a vascular surgeon as soon as possible for Doppler of the fistula, if detected early you can thrombolyse it without any intervention.
