What Causes Ringing In Ears And Vibration In Feet When Diagnosed With Hypothyroidism?

Question: Hi I am 27 years old and experiencing some health issues this past year. I started with ringing in my ears, was diagnosed with hypothyriodism, and now I'm experincing some vibration on my feet and behnd my knee... is this all related? I am 5'2 148lbs.

Sorry to learn about your symptoms. If your thyroid levels are normal then these symptoms cannot be due to hypothyroidism.

When I see someone like you in my practice, I typically order the following blood tests in addition to a detailed physical examination:

CBC
Electrolytes
Calcium
HbA1c (Glycosylated Hemoglobin = your 3 month glucose average)
Liver function tests
Kidney function tests
TSH
Free T4
Anti Thyroid Peroxidase (TPO) antibodies
Anti Thyroglobulin antibodies
25 hydroxy Vitamin D

My Doctor has done blood work and came back normal. I will check with him and make sure i was tested for the things above.
