Brief Answer:
Eustachian tube blockade likely cause

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Dear Ms

Ringing in ear is occasionally seen and is due to Eustuchian tube blockade. Eustachian tube is a canal connecting the middle ear with the Nasopharynx. Blockage of this causes negative pressure in middle ear cavity causing ringing.

Excessive chlorine exceeding 1.5ppm can sometimes lead to gastrointestinal symptoms, they are self limiting.

I would suggest you the following

1. Steam inhalation: 15 minutes each session thrice a day
2. Anti-emetic like Domperidone will be helpful
3. Probiotic will be helpful for controlling Diarrhoea

Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Take Care

Thank you for your response. Do you believe that the temporary memory loss was also the result of ingesting the chlorinated water? I never had this problem before. I have been swimming daily for the past several months, but this was the first time in this pool at a municipal facility.

Brief Answer:
Not due to chlorinated water

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Temporary memory loss is unlikely to be due to chlorinated water. If the symptoms recurrence would suggest you to consult your Physician for further assessment.
