default
Posted on Thu, 6 Oct 2016
Question: Hello, I am having pain in the right side of my chest, below the breast. It is dull pain, ... it comes and goes. It started suddenly yesterday. No fever, sweating, but I had since last night about 8-10 BM, soft, no diarrhea. At one time I felt the pain radiating to my back, but it stopped. I am laying in bed, and felt the pain 2-3 times in the last couple hrs.

Brief Answer:
Further investigation needed sir.

Detailed Answer:
hello Sir,
I can imagine the difficulty you r having due to pain.
the right sided chest pain occurs due to some problem in lung or the local muscles. rarely there may be right chest pain due to some cardiac problem.
the pain may be said to be arising from lungs if it occurs during a particular phase of respiration.
now of course you have very well elaborated pain, but only on the basis of history you have written, it is difficult to arrive at a diagnosis.
you may take analgesics/ pain killers for quick relief. but for a long term relief we must a proper diagnosis and treatment. so I advise you to go to a physician and get the complete check up done.
if the diagnosis is not possible clinically or by x-ray chest, a CT scan may be done.
I pray for a good health to you.
please feel free to ask further.
