Question: Hello doctor,
I am 27 year old. From past one week i have been experiencing reduced sensation(both touch and pain) in my left half of the body upto my abdomen, mainly in my fingertips.I am losing grip on minute things. I consulted a local neurologist regarding this and he told I might be having Raynaud's syndrome. In turn was prescribed with Gabantin 300 , Evion 400 and Dexona . when I read about Dexona was little tensed reading it can lead to weight gain and other stuff. So, could you please suggest me whether the recommended drugs are fine for me

Brief Answer:
These are fine for you but you should keep an eye on their side effects.

Detailed Answer:
Hey thanks for your faith in the health care Magic

I have gone through your question,

Based on the history provided by you, I understand that you have been considered for ruling out Raynaud's syndrome. Also, you have been advised above mentioned medications to alleviate the symptoms.

Gabantin and Evion are safer medications with very narrow side effect profile and can be used without concern as long as they have been advised for.

Dexona does have side effects but the appearance of them in one depends on the duration if the dosage. A treatment for short duration may not cause any serious side effects.

I would like to know for how long have you been advised to take dexona, so that I could be specific on what symptoms to look for and whether or not safe to take.

Waiting for your response,

Thank you.
