What Causes Reduced Fetal Movements During 26th Week Of Pregnancy?
Question: Hi, I'm in week 26. We're on vacation in Europe waiting to see doctor. When I arrived a week ago the baby was busy kicking. With each meal he/she was very active. While here we have hiked, eaten many large meals (some including seafood which I regularly eat back home and milk in my cappuccino, yogurt, possibly some unpasteurized cheese / ice cream (or gelato)
The babies movements have slowed a bit, or simply become less noticeable. There have been few of the big kicks that I experienced when I first arrived. The day before yesterday I felt nothing at breakfast even with a juice. The baby moved by the next meal. Now after eating the baby will move a bit but not nearly to the extent I experienced before. In the early am (2am here, 7 hours ahead of time back home) I counted kicks/movements and everything seemed fine. Though at breakfast just a slight movement despite having sugar. And then nothing once I lied down.
Now I think I'm feeling flutters again as I wait for the doctor. If it were regular hours in the US I think a conversation with my doctors may indicate this might be normal. It's not like the baby isn't moving just not big kicks/ food reactions. Could there have been a spike in movement brought on by the flight and maybe this is just regular pattern?

Brief Answer:
Usual pattern
Detailed Answer:
Hello Mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
This is common in this phase of pregnancy but maintain the regularity of movements.
Intensity may vary every now and then but number should be adequate.
Still get fetal heart rate checked if possible.
