What Causes Redness And Swelling On The Penis Post Intercourse?

default
Posted on Wed, 14 Dec 2016
Question: While having sex with Girlfriend I was thrusting pretty forcefully and immediately after I removed it I noticed a red discoloration that is a little raised.I did not feel anything to dramatic, nor did I hear a crack, or feel a crack or pop. There was some loud noise so its possible I just didnt hear it. Not very painful but very scary because of the region affected. It is a little tender to the touch and seems a little raised. Visually seems there is one area that seems affected, the left side on the shaft maybe an inch in diameter two thirds of then way up towards the tip. What should I do? How can I treat it? Is this something that may be very serious with drastic effects? Will this make erections impossible or deformed? Frankly Im afraid to get one? Will it hurt? How long should I abstain? Will I require surgery? Im kind of freaking out about some initial results I got from Internet searches that talk about surgery for broken penis's. That seems very invasive and scary. My guess is that its not really broken but maybe a bruise.

Also I took 15mg of oxycodone prior to sex.

Brief Answer:
A photo of the lump is required....

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concern.

Before running into final conclusions, I'd like to have a look at the lump you are referring. Can you please send a photo of it?

Next, hard sex is always associated with a bit inflammation of the genitals due to friction especially when not really lubricated.
That is temporary reaction and will take a couple of days to subside.
That's ok as long as you are not feeling any pain.

Put ice pack locally, and take anti-inflammatory med like ibuprofen for inflammation. Aloe vera icy cream is suggested to apply locally.

So, first give time for inflammation to subside first, then, should think for other what-to-do steps.

Looking forward to have the requested photo in for a more specific advice.
