Brief Answer:
Do not apply topical steroids

Detailed Answer:
hi

I understand your concern regarding your skin problem and I hope I am able to help you in the same.
You seem to be developing recurrent fungal infection in the area .
You should not apply topical steroid creams over the affected area as it might lead to recurrences .
You need to simply apply a topical antifungal cream like clotrimazole over the affected area twice daily regularly for atleast two weeks .
You can continue to use an antifungal dusting powder .
You might need a course of oral antifungal agents of the infection still persists .
Get a blood glucose assessment done to rule out diabetes .

Hope it helps

Brief Answer:
Avoid steroids

Detailed Answer:
Hi again

I usually do not prescribe topical steroids to my patients with fungal infection.
However if your doctor checked the area and then have you treatment, then he must have seen signs of eczema along with fungal infection.
