Brief Answer:
Upload a photograph

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thanks for writing to us at healthcaremagic.

I would be able to guide you better if you can upload a photograph of the rashes on your left wrist.

-Do you have any symptoms associated with the rashes on left wrist? itching? or is the rash asymptomatic?
-How long since you have noticed the rashes on your wrist?
-Where did you had herpes? Is there any pain at the site of healed herpes? Are you on some oral medication for this pain?

Regards

Hi.. Have uploaded some pics, pls check. There is some itching on this rash that i noticed today morning only. Earlier i had symptoms under my right chest area, there was a ring of blisters and rashes around. I was on 8 day anti viral Zimivir 1000, 3 day antibiotic Azee and pain killer Ultracet. This course completed 3 days back. Since then i have been on 10 day course of Nurokind G for post herpes effect prevention.

Brief Answer:
Likely a contact dermatitis

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

I have reviewed the photograph. This rash seems likely to be a result of "Contact Dermatitis" to a wrist band, or may be to the metallic buckle of a wrist watch or something like that you may be wearing. "Nickel" is the most common allergen present in these.

It is unrelated to herpes.

If I was the treating doctor I would have asked you to use a moderately potent topical steroid e.g betamethasone valerate in a cream formulation, twice daily. This is a prescription product and you must visit a dermatologist for a written prescription before trying it.

An OTC topical steroid e.g cetrizine 10 mg would provide you symptomatic relief from itching.
