Brief Answer:
Some possible causes of changes of the smell of urine.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thank you for using Healthcaremagic to post your health query.
I read carefully your question and I understand your concern.

Urine smell changes may be from an aggravation of your liver problems, but you should also look for other symptoms like tiredness, nausea or/and vomiting, heavy feeling in abdominal, jaundice (yellow skin), bloating, weight loss, ect. The confirmation of this is made by Liver functions tests and the bilirubine.

There are other problems also who can change the urine smell like urinary infection, diabetes, dehydration, some foods like asparagus or maple syrup, ect.

Drink plenty of fluids and avoid these foods in case you are eating them, just to see if the urine smell goes back to what you had before.
Also, be careful of watching for symptoms of diabetes (obesity, eating a lot and very thirsty in general) and urinary tract infection (burning urination, difficulty, fever).

If worse or not better, I would recommend seeing a local doctor.

Hope this is helpful.
Let me know if you need more clarifications.

Regards,
Dr. Papaqako
