What Causes Post Nasal Drip And Mucus In Throat After Oral Sex?
Question: I have had post nasal drip for the past 4 months. Why? Is this something bad? Last July i gave my boy friend oral sex and i feel like ever since then i have had mucus in my throat. He does not have STD/HIV. I was on birth control and just recently got off it two months ago. Could imbalance hormones be causing it? My period started way later then it was supposed to. Why do i have post nasal drip for the longest time?

3. Looking at your age, your facial growth has just ceased a couple of years ago. Get a nasal examination done to rule out common causes for a post nasal drip such as a deviated nasal septum.
4. Chronic sinusitis and acid reflux will worsen a post nasal drip.
5. You might need a sinus CT if medical treatment does not decrease the post nasal drip. Medication includes anti allergic, mucolytics, steam inhalation, steroid nasal sprays and saline nasal washes.

So this has nothing to do with giving my boyfriend oral sex? And STD/HIV?? What could it be from exactly?

I an getting testest for STD/HIV because im scared i have it. I have never had sex. However, i have gave my boyfriend oral sex before (hes negative to all tests) and i gave this other guy oral sex four years ago. I havent had any symptoms since then. My results to the tests should be negative to correct?
