Question: I inserted canesten vaginal tablet last night before bed for my yeast infection and today I woke up with light pink spotting, and now I'm bleeding bright red stringy like discharge and I'm not sure if I should continue with the tablet for tonight or not

I understand spotting after insertion of Canesten tablet vaginally.
This happens if you have accidentally scratched the vaginal walls with your fingers while inserting tablet or using a plunger.
If you are inserting with fingers, please cut your nails and insert slowly to avoid scratching and bleeding.
If you are using plunger please read instructions on the paper given along with drug and insert accordingly.

Sorry you miss understood me there, I inserted last night and had no bleeding at all until the next morning, would that still be because of scratching? Or possibly sknething else?
