Brief Answer:
Low-dose antipsychotics can be used

Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for asking from HealthcareMagic,

I can understand your concern. You have the bipolar affective disorder and are on Nexito forte and Licab. Even with medicines, the symptoms are persisting. The sleep is poor. In such case, we can think of adding low dose antipsychotics like Olanzapine or Risperidone to her prescription.

Both these are second generation antipsychotics and have mood stabilizer properties too. The drugs can help in solving the problem of poor sleep too. The anger and mood symptoms will also improve. Please discuss these with your psychiatrist for evaluation and then the prescription of these drugs.

Thanks and Take care.
