What Causes Persistent Difficulty In Walking While Treating Parkinson's Disease?

default
Posted on Wed, 19 Apr 2017
Question: I have Parkinson's. Until about two weeks ago, caribiidopa!-levidopa helped with walking. My neurologist PA prescribed Rytary ER 48.75-195, 3 pills at 7am, 2 at 2pm and 2 at 9pm. NO effect. I now have to drag myself up and down ramps behind a walker. My neurologist won't see me until July 3.

Brief Answer:
Ask your primary care physician to write the previous medications for you

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone carefully through your query. It is apparent that the change in medication is not working out well for you. In such a case it would be advisable to visit your primary care physician to prescribe the previous medication (which had been effective earlier) for the duration until you can meet your neurologist.
