Question: my 17 year old daughter has had head aches in her temple area off and on for the past 10 mos...regular pain relief medication do not help. I hope to be able to get to the root of this so she doesn't have to rely on figuring out medication.

if we are trying to figure out triggers that could be causes her head aches where do we start?

Brief Answer:
Sinusitis should be treated correctly first.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Since sinuses were found impacted on CT scan, this is the first condition to be treated.

You should take your daughter to an ENT Doctor and to discuss with him about treating sinusitis.

Antibiotics and symptomatic treatment may be needed for this purpose, or even endoscopic drainage of sinuses may be needed.

After successful treatment of sinusitis, if headaches continue, primary headaches such migraine, tension type or cluster headaches should be addressed further by consulting a Neurologist.

In my opinion, this way you can get to the root of the problem.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Greetings.
