What Causes Peeling Vaginal Lips Along With Canker Sore On Vagina?
Question: I am having a few symptoms that I would like an opinion on. I had a bad cough this past month and I had to take antibiotic pills for 20 days. Half way through the pills I noticed my vaginal lips started peeling, not scaly but wet peeling. Today I woke up and looked and noticed a single white sore, it looks like a canker sore. Smaller than a pencil eraser. Is hard, flat, no red on it. It doesn't hurt unless it's touched. Please help

It would be hard to get a picture as it is on the inner part, down at the bottom just inside the opening. It took quite a bit to be able to see it.

Yes, this is a canker sore, and often occurs while you are on antibiotics.
It was preceded by the peeling which is most likely a yeast infection.
The sore should be differentiated from a herpetic sore ( unlikely to be herpes since you are having no pain or tenderness ).
While you are having the sore is the best time to get it tested.
Please visit a Specialist OB - GYn and have the lesion swabbed, and also get a vaginal swab taken, to rule out any infection.
The canker sore should subside by itself in a few days.
Take probiotics meanwhile.
Have protected sex.
And avoid using any kind of products on the area, just cleanse with water and wash your hands well with soap afterwards.
