Question: For the last couple days I've had this weird (not painful) pulsating/spasming in my right side towards my back just over my rib cage. (halfway around about where the band of my bra would sit) what could cause this?

Brief Answer:
Muscle spasm

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for using Healthcaremagic.

I went through your query and understood your concerns.

For my patients with similar complaints , first I would like to do physical examination. depending on examination findings I would go for tests if required.

With your description of symptoms it looks like muscle spasm in back. Give rest by avoiding bending movements and muscle relaxant medication helps to relive this discomfort.

If not relieved with simple measure then we can go for further evaluation.

Hope I answered your query. Feel free to ask further related query.

Wish you a good health.

Regards
