What Causes Pain On Left Side Of Rib Cage?
Question: Side stitch left side right at rib cage ,of one weeks duration. Not from exercising. Just woke up with it!

As per your description, it looks like musculoskeletal pain.
I normally prescribe Skeletal muscle relaxant tablet containing Thiocolchicoside to my patients with similar complaints. These are of course prescription medications, so you need to get a prescription from your primary care physician.
If there is no response with in a week,please consult your doctor and get an X ray and Ultrasound of the affected area.
