What Causes Pain In Upper Right Abdomen, Back And Under Right Shoulder Blade?

Question: I have pain in my upper right quadrant just under rib cage that can radiate to my back -just under right shoulder blade. This is caused by 5-6 beers or heavy meal.

I have gone through your query.

I would like to know since when you have this problem?

Based on the information, there are few possibilities like gastro esophageal reflux disease or gastritis or gall stone or cholecystitis, hepatitis.

As you have mentioned it is post drinking or after heavy meals, it might be due to gastritis. I would have recommended you to take Capsule Omeprazole 20 mg once daily in the morning empty stomach before breakfast for 10 days.

Apart from this few investigation are required like Ultrasound of abdomen, Liver function test, viral hepatitis profile.
