Brief Answer:
change in food habits.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing to us,
Gastritis will present with burning sensation in chest or stomach. Severe pain after food usually suggest you might be suffering from gastric ulcer. this is diagnosed only by endoscopy, sonography will not detect it.
You should consult a gastro enterologist and get treated as this may worsen if not treated in time.

As of your request i'm providing few home remedies and lifestyle managing skills which may help to prevent you from reccurrance of this condition but not used as curative methods.

1) Have 2 glasses of water in empty stomach
2) Chew some almonds in between your meals.
3)Carom seeds are good natural antacid you can have it with buttermilk.
4)have lot of fluids like natural fruit juices, avoid citrus fruits.
5) avoid coffee and tea, fried and spicy foods.
6) Have food in a proper scheduled time, avoid large meals, have a last meal before 2 hours of bed time.

Hope the information is useful to you.
take care.
