What Causes Pain In The Lower Right Back?

default
Posted on Fri, 3 Feb 2017
Question: I get a pain in my RHS lower back area when I ejaculate. I have had my prostate checked recently and it was ok. I have recently had some pain in my RH Side groin area and had a ultra sound done and they picked up a lump of fat in my sperm duct (to correct will have to do a hernia style operation). My question is the pain I feel when I ejaculate is that linked do you think to the lump of fat in my sperm duct or do you think it could be the prostate needs further investigation or anything else????

Brief Answer:
Spermogram and sperm culture as next steps..

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I understand your concern.

Taking into account your medical history, the pain you feel on your right side when you ejaculate, is due to fat lump found in your sperm duct.

When you ejaculate, sperm is going through the sperm duct. Depending on the pressure the lump is putting on the sperm duct, it can also be associated with Infection. Both pressure and Infection are making you feel pain when you ejaculate.

So, to my opinion, sperm examination and culture should be run together with measuring PSA. Your pain is not related to prostate to my opinion as long as ultrasound reported it as normal.

Take OTC painkillers and avoid ejaculation until you see your doctor and run the tests advised above.

Hope this helps.
