Brief Answer:
As detailed below.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
TO recapitulate: Female/23 - sudden pain in left lower abdomen - near pelvic area - feels tight - only if you sit at certain angle - does not hurt when you press or stand up....
The probable causes are:
Muscles sprain in that particular area which get instigated on sitting in a certain position.
Spinal problem causing nerve compression when sitting in a particular position.
Rarely an ovarian cyst or so.

I would advise you the following:
Take rest so that instigating factor is alleviated.
Consult a Doctor for actual clinical examination so that the proper cause can be found out making proper treatment possible. Please discuss the points I just mentioned above so that a direction can be found out to get an early proper diagnosis.

You may need investigations as per the cause found.

Please give additional information:
Since when have you got this problem?
Was there any accident or so?
Any back pain?

I hope this answer helps you, please feel free to give feedback and ask for further relevant queries if you feel that there is a gap of communication.
