What Causes Pain And Swelling In Vulva Area In A Diabetic Patient?

Question: My wife, aged 54 years is dibetic. Her randum sugar XXXXXXX upto 557 for three days and it came down to Fasting(136) and PP(246). She had a child birth in 1986 through surgery of portion between vulva and anus and had stitches there.
During elevated sugar, she has swelling in vulva stitch and and is having excessive pain. Touching causes severe pain.
She has no itching in vagina. no pain in urination and no pain in passing stool.
Kindly recommend medicines, creams, lotions and treatment.

It is most likely some tissue cellulitis which is common in diabetic patients who have poor control.
In my opinion visit a gynecologist at the earliest and get her examined for the same.
