Brief Answer:
Taking Vitamin B 12 will help.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The feeling of numbness under the foot could be due to a mild fluid or electrolyte imbalance or methylcobalamin deficiency or due to a nerve root compression at the level of lumbar spine. Diabetic neuropathy also needs to be ruled out if you are diabetic.
In case this has happened for the first time then you can start taking methylcobalamin supplements and see if the symptoms improve in two weeks. If the episodes are recurrent then few blood tests are needed to find the exact cause and for specific treatment.
I hope this answers your query.
In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.
