Brief Answer:
Explained

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

Thanks for uploading the images. The area is bruised. Swelling is bound to occur with such injuries. If you had uploaded the x rays then I could have commented on the fracture itself, if any. If the fracture or dislocation is ruled out then the only treatment left is pain control through

Acetaminophen
NSAIDS
Muscle relaxants
Pregabalin or gabapentin
Opioids like tramadol
Local application of ice

If you are worried then you can take another opinion from a different doctor and apprise them of his findings. If his findings are the same then you can relax. Continue the treatment for now.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
