What Causes Mild Pain And Lymph Node Swelling In Groin Area?
Question: My son is 24 yrs old. He has experienced swollen lymph nodes in his groin area in the last week. The swelling has also been accompanied by mild pain. He has no discharge, no sores, nothing else to explain the swelling.
The doc did urine tests...all came back normal. They did blood tests, and we are awaiting the results.
I feel like something else could be done. Is a scenario like this not something to panic over?
The doc stated that sometimes they don't have a conclusive reason for the swelling other than infection in the body, and that they may not be able to tell us what the infection was or why he got it. Does that sound correct?

- Another reasons is a generalized problem as told by your Doctor. This can be due to generalized infection with or without constitutional symptoms.
