What Causes Low BP And Elevated Heart Rate?

Question: My blood pressure this morning was 89/59 and my heart rate is 107. Is that bad? I am also taking 180 mg of diltizem twice daily.

Your BP is at the lower border of the norm. Although your HR is slightly elevated (107 bpm) as long as its below 120 bpm you shouldn't worry about that.

If you were my patient I would recommended to add magnesium supplements on your therapy to further stabilize your BP and HR.
