Post recovery from infection may sometime cause such symptoms

Detailed Answer:
Hello

My name is Dr Muhammad Ali Rauf & i will look into your problem.

I have gone through your query and would try to help you in the best possible way. After recovery from illness, sometimes such symptoms may occur and they usually resolve itself i few days. Is joint swollen & hot and is there any family history of joint problem? If both normal then its ok. If i were your treating doctor then i would have advised following things:

- take ibuprofen thrice a day for 5 days.
- take hot water in a rubber bottle and place it at the site of pain. It will give soothing effect.
- Avoid sternous activity or lifting heavy weight.

Hopefully you will see an improvement in 2-3 days. if condition remains same or aggravates then you need to visit hospital.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help if not then don't forget to close the discussion and rate it.
Wishing you good health !!
