Question: Fifty eight year old male with joint and muscle aches. Swollen hands, shoulders are week, recently like ten weeks ago had a knee replacement which continues to get hot and sweaty. He is also a diabetic, taking pills and a pacer. One stent replaced twice.

The joint and muscle aches at his age and after a surgery cam be related to arthritis, decreased vitamin D3 levels, decreased calcium levels, electrolyte imbalance, diabetes, etc. All these causes need to be ruled out after proper blood tests. Taking healthy diet with proper supplements will help.
The hot and sweaty knee joint can be due to an inflammation. If it is persistent then an infection needs to be ruled out after a proper examination.
