What Causes Itching Sensation On Breast And Abdomen?

Question: Hello,

I am extremely concerned with symptoms that have been happening to my body for the past few months. A little background on how it started. I first started to become very itchy mainly my breast and stomach. About a week or so later, that is when the rash began. The rash was very itchy and started on my thighs then stomach and the rest of my body but not all parts at once. I have also noticed circulation problems with my hands mainly. My hands are so dry and cracked and very cold most of the day. When they dont feel cold they tend to feel hot and swollen. On top of that now I began to have blotchy red spots on my face that do not itch. My lips are also burning and are extremely red/chapped. I have also noticed that any thing that presses on my skin creates an indent easily. I have attached pictures of the rash on some parts of my body. I'm extremely scared this can be something serious. Just a side note and I am not sure if this could cause this bad of symptoms but I do suffer from bulimia where I binge and purge at least twice a day and when I am not binging I do tend not to eat at all or one small meal. Please let me know if you can help and put my mind at ease to what this could be. Thank you!

Thank you for asking at HCM
I read your question and i understand your concern. However i want to reassure you that after watching the pictures you attached, i can say for sure that these small rashes are innocuous and likely to be the reason of urticaria also called Hives. This is very common and a person can get easily. Good thing about it is that is managed easily. All you need is a few antihistamines, topical betamethasone or hydrocortisone to be applied over the rash and avoiding the likely trigger like exposure to sun, too much cold, smoking or binge drinking etc. Try doxepin, it works like charm plus it will help binge collateral damage done to stomach as well as work as a good antidepressant.

Now the sensations and weird stuff going on, all that is correlated to bulimia and binge drinking. You need to stop that or you may end up tearing your GUT. This article will help you understand what binge is really about.

Take some psychiatric rehab for that. There are plenty of centre for that. Antihistamines should suffice for the hives. There is no serious problem with the rash but for sure serious for the binge drinking and bulimia. A disease needs remedy ASAP. Also the numbness and perioral sensations are likely a sequelae of this binge as vitamin b deficiency specially thiamine can cause such symptoms. So it would be wise to take some vitamins supplements with it.

I hope it helps. take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discusison please. May the odds be ever in your favour.
