Brief Answer:
Lifestyle modification

Detailed Answer:
Hi there

Thanks for the query.

These jerks are usually involuntary movements that can occur normally in sleep as part of a dream or nightmare. Nothing to worry about.

Take a rich carbohydrate meal at night and avoid much protein at night. Take bananas, yoghurt, rice etc. Avoid chicken, meat and soya at night. Drink 2 litres of water daily.

Avoid caffeine in any form after 6:00PM and no energy drinks as well. Perform Yoga for stress relief. Avoid any noticeable stressor.

I hope I have answered your query.

I will be available to answer your follow up queries.

Regards,

Dr. Aashish Raghu
