Brief Answer:
Need more information, suspecting herpetic neuralgia

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX thanks for asking from HealthcareMagic.

I can understand your concern. You mentioned that there is the pain on right side, blisters on gum and you are taking Acyclovir. This history is suggesting you are suffering from "Post herpetic neuralgia". To confirm it, I need more information:

- Is your pain localized on right side only and around blister area?

- Are these vesicles filled with clear water or pus? Can you send me the image?

- Is there any history of immune compromisation like diabetes, steroid intake, chronic illness?

- Is your pain burning, needle-like sharp pain?

- Do you any past history of chicken pox?

These answers will help me in confirming the diagnosis. If it is post herpetic neuralgia, you are taking right medication - Acyclovir. For pain relief, you can also take any of the below

- Pregabalin 75 mg twice a day and increased up to 300mg/day after prescription
- Gabapentin 300 mg once or twice a day after prescription.
- Combination of Pregabalin and Nortriptyline (after prescription).

Hope you got my point. If any doubt, please do let me know.
Thanks. Take care.
