Question: Endometrium 10mm,not well defined on TA Scan what does this mean ?

Hello ,
THANKS FOR the query,
If the scan has been done mid cycle then the 10mm thickness is fine but the" not well defined" on a trans abdominal ultrasound may either mean that probably endometrium couldn't be seen propery or the endometrial lining is distorted with either a uterine polyp or probably a sub mucous fibroid giving its irregularity.
A saline sono hysterography may be done to identify the lesion with confirmation. Please discuss the same with your physician.
