What Causes Increased Appetite After Having Etizola- Beta?
Question: I am 38 year old house wife. I have gone through 'Aanold chairy malformation decompression' surgery. After surgery i was feeling too hungry, & after taking light food feeling like noshia. I have taken Etizola-beta & Protheden-M under a psychiatric for around one year.
Now since last three months I am taking treatment from Neuro-physician. He reduced slowly above tablets & added sebilium & topiral.
Whele slowing down the doses of Etizola, Protheden & sebilium I felt too hungry, Noshia.
Now presently I take topiral 50mg twice per day & sebilium-5mg at night.
Is the treatment right. I am afraid of the side effects of the medicines. Pl tell me whether my treatment is on right track or not.

Brief Answer:
Medicine induced
Detailed Answer:
Hi there.
I am Dr Mittal
I am going to try help you with the query.
Increased hunger is a part of the side effects of the medicines you are on.
You need not worry cause the medicines will go and then the diet will be normal too.
Do watch your weight.
As for nausea, its due to the medicines again, they affect the liver.
Again nothing to worry, usually reversed when the medicine is withdrawn
Best of luck
