Question: Pls i have hba1c 7.6 triglycerid 370 cholestrol 190 i take lipitor 20 can i add lipanthyle 200 with it

Regarding your concern, I would recommend to add a long-acting basal insulin, like insulin lantus (glargine), once daily.

It will be helpful to control better the 24 hours blood glucose levels, without any obvious risk of hypoglycemia.

Your HbA1c level is abnormally high, showing an unfavorable balance of your actual therapy and blood glucose in the last months.

So, it is mandatory to modulate urgently your anti-diabetic therapy, as diabetes is a major coronary risk factor.

It is also necessary to continue a proper antilipidemic therapy.

Don't forget that a healthy and balanced diet remains the Achilles heel of this issue.
