Question: Hi i am 29 years old i have had 4 children one passed away 2 and a bit years ago at 8 months pregnant i had to terminate the pregnancy and a year ago i had a abortion and in sergey there was a problem i continued to bleed and was sent to a hospital for 2 days and left with out a answer as to why i continued to bleed. I then had the inplamon implant for 3 years but had to get it taken out after 8months because of continuous bleeding that was everyday so it had to come out and now the last few months since iv been using nothing my periods have been really painful and sharp pains. I have been bleeding very heavy for 5 days now the first day i changed my pad and tampon every 2 or 3 hrs and it was full each time. I also got a really bad fever having to take panadol every 4 hrs the pain is so intense it feels like labor pains in my back and stomach. My stomach is so tender and seems to be swollen not being able to put my jeans on causing at times alot of discomfort. I finally seen a docor 2 nights ago and he did a urine test and he said i was not pregnant then he felt my stomach and checked my temp but at this time i noticed i was feeling better because i had panadol so he said my temp was ok and said i had to do a blood test. I haven't done it yet because of the timeof the year and i have traveled to see my family. Hoping to go tomorrow or the next day i will to get a blood test done.

Brief Answer:
Please, get an abdominal ultrasound!

Detailed Answer:
HI and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about these series of disturbing symptoms and disease conditions that you have reported. I have reviewed this information fully and it is suggestive of a possible mass in the abdomen. This is likely with a distended abdomen. I will recommend that you do an ultrasound to look directly into the uterus and all the pelvic organs to pinpoint what the possible cause of your symptoms is. This will also serve as a complementary series to the blood tests to make a more comprehensive and complete evaluation. Keep me posted with the results for interpretation and more insights.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be. Above all, thanks for using our services.
