Brief Answer:
Candida overgrowth to rule out by stool culture...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concern.

Let me recapitalize your case:
- 26 years old male
- current health concerns: sharp heavy feel under right rib, loose motions, soft think stools
- stool test shows: no occult blood/ova/cyst; only bacteria
- USG normal, only microcalculi in the R kidney
- medications used until now: ornidazole, ofloxacin, bacelac

At this point, I have a few more questions regarding your problems:
- since when did the stool problems started?
- are your stool always loose and thin?
- is there any specific foods/drink that precipitate/aggravate the symptoms? (e.g. beans? carrots? cauliflower? fried? oily? chilly foods?)
- Have you changed to any new foods/drinks recently?
- Any recent activity outdoors?
- are you also having bloating? gas? flatulence? burping?

As per your description, it seems that the pain under right rib is due to distended bowels suppressing the nearby nerves and organs causing the pain you feel.

Next, if I was your caring doctor would advise to run culture of stool for candida overgrowth and pathological bacteria. The presence of bacteria is not conclusive as stool is rich in bacteria that are normal part of its flora.

If confirmed, anti-fungal treatment is suggested (e.g. fluconazole, miconazole or nystatin orally as per culture and sensitivity testing result).

Colonoscopy is also recommended to exclude inflammatory bowel diseases. USG cannot catch inflammatory changes of the bowel mucosa; colonoscopy is the diagnostic test of choice in this case.

What you eat is also very important. Avoid foods that would cause bloating like beans, cauliflower, or processed foods.
Drink more plain water, avoid drinks rich in coloring or persevatives.
Recommended to eat more yogurt; avoid milk or other lactose rich foods. Lactose intolerance test is also advised to rule it out.

Gluten free foods are also encouraged to consume too.

After these changes are made, you can see if symptoms will subside. Let me know how it goes.
Wish fast recovery!

Brief Answer:
Culture of stool, and avoid foods causing bloating

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,

Thank you for providing additional information.

For the moment, I advise to run culture of stool for Candida overgrowth.

Avoid those foods that could trigger bloating or mucoid stool.

I think you are having problems with digestion since your staying in Malaysia. It will require a few more time to restore the normal function of your bowels.

Wish fast recovery.

Brief Answer:
Still need time to recover totally

Detailed Answer:
Hi back my dear,

I am glad to know your stool are getting normal again.

The presence of undigested carrot in your stool is indicating that your digestive tract is not recovered yet to digest raw foods.

That's why we recommend liquid and bland diet for the first days of diarrhea. After that gradually introducing semi solid or solid foods.

Hope it helps.
