Question: My daughter fell off the balance beam at gymnastics this morning, and she hit another child. She has complained of headache ever since. There does not seem to be a bump, but the pain gets worse if she bends over. I'm curious if this is normal.

Brief Answer:
There is no cause for concern

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Dear XXXX

Headache is quite common after having sustained injury in children.

If the following criteria are fulfilled there is no cause for concern

1. No persistent vomiting
2. No abnormal movements of body
3. No loss of consciousness

I would suggest the following which will be very helpful to relieve the pain

1. Bed rest and adequate sleep
2. Analgesic like Ibuprofen will be very helpful in relieving pain

Rest be assured there is no cause for concern.

Take Care
