What Causes Headache Inspite Of Having Hematomas?

Question: You have my history about hematomas. My local doctors ask me every I see them about headaches. I have had many during my adult years, including a few years with migraines. During the past few weeks I have had some. not heavy but annoying. Do they have added meaning? I ask this question because of all the queries about them from my local medical specialists. They don't last very long and cease with Tylenol. I await your answer.

I appreciate your concern.

Clinically subdural hematoma and arachnoid hematoma presents as headache. We will be able to analyse the progress of the condition based on severity of headaches. Therefore if you the headache is not debilitation, it most like means you have no recurrence / worsening. This most likely the reason why your doctor regular inquire about headaches.

As the headache spells after the last hemorrhage has been mild, I don't feel its concerning. It may be related to past headaches perhaps due to physical or mental stress.

You can continue to take tylenol to cease headaches. That should be sufficient.
