Brief Answer:
I would like to investigate to rule out some condition

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for asking on this platform

The increase in thirst and increase in frequency of micturition may be just a subjective finding.
But as it is significant and there are few conditions which can cause increase urinary frequency (polyuria) with increased thirst (polydypsia), which may remain undetected if ignored and finally land up in a severe condition,I would like to rule out all those conditions.
First I would suggest you to measure the total daily fluid intake and urinary output.
Also I would like to know her current weight and height (if there is any failure to thrive) common in renal tubular acidosis.
Is there any burning micturition, dribbling of urine or urinary retension (can be there in UTI)?
I would like to get few tests done like blood sugar (to rule out type 1 diabetes mellitus),blood calcium, phosphorus and acid base status (with help of arterial blood gas analysis, urinary test (urinary acidic or basic nature or any other significant abnormality) to rule out renal tubular acidosis, hypercalcemia.

I would suggest you to consult a pediatrician to get all these tests done and to rule out all these conditions.
Please let me know if you have any more query.
I would like to follow your baby's reports too if there is any abnormality.

Regards
