What Causes Floaters In Left Eye And Headache?

Question: Sometimes I see 2 to 3 dots appear in air in front of my left eye, generally when I am out in open. Head ache has now diminished.
Should I consult any eye specialist?

Hi,

The dots that you described are referred to as floaters. Generally I would not be very concerned if these floaters are occasional. But if you notice the floaters constantly almost all day it is advisable to visit the specialist (opthalmologist) to rule out conditions related to posterior chamber and retina.

That being said, since you also mentioned about migraines in your post, the dots/floaters may be related to it.

A physical evaluation will be worthwhile to identify the exact cause. So see the doctor. It is not an emergency though.
