What Causes Fever And Diarrhea When Diagnosed With Tooth Decay?

Question: Dear Sir,
Friday I went to the dentist to deal with a toothache. After x-rays, and consultation with an endodontist, the diagnosis was two deep pockets of decay at the gum line. That afternoon, the pain was gone, but by Saturday afternoon I'd developed a 102.6 fever. Sunday morning, a doctor in a walk-in clinic diagnosed my condition as a virus (after testing for flu). This morning, the fever's gone, but diarrhea has kept me running for over four hours. In your opinion, is my condition indeed just a virus?

So sorry to hear about your problem and will try my level best to resolve it..

As per your complain fever along with diarrhea seems to be due to Viral infection only and as fever has subsided, gradually the loose motions will subside..

You should continue taking plenty of fluids and along with it you can take anti diarrhea medicines like Loperamide after consulting your local Physician..

You can also take Yoghurt in your diet along with rice,cereals, banana etc..
