What Causes Feeling Heavy Uterus And Abdominal Cramps After Stopping Oral Contraceptive Pills?

Question: Hi,
19 days ago I stopped taking the oral contraceptive pill XXXXXXX in order to allow my body to fall into a natural cycle and plan a pregnancy. I did this in time to get my period as per usual. On day 11 and 12 of my cycle my partner and I had completely unprotected sex and now (7 days later) my uterus feels extremely heavy. The same feeling as I do a day or two prior to getting my period. I have also had minor cramping in my abdominal and uterus. I am not sure if this is a side effects of coming off XXXXXXX or if Its the very early signs of pregnancy? I cannot find any information which indicates that it's due to coming off the pill, however I have heard this to be a symptom of early pregnancy. I cannot use a pregnancy test until day 10 in order to get an accurate reading and as many women do, I'm finding the waiting game frustrating. Some insight would be great. Thanks

Brief Answer:
Is early to think for a pregnancy.

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear and thanks for your query.

Heavy uterus and feeling as you are getting your periods is not related to the switch of XXXXXXX

These signs may be sign of early pregnancy or from premenstrual syndrome .

There isnt any other early method that can determine that you are pregnancy, hence you only should wait for another days to take pregnancy test.

Take folic acid and be calm.

I have never experienced a 'heavy' feeling uterus as a premenstral symptom before, nor any other symptoms apart from tiredness. Is it common to feel exagerated pms symptoms before the FIRST NATURAL period, after coming off the pill? My period (if on time) is due in 11 days. As I said, Iv never felt anything like this and not sure if it is even a 'normal' pms symptom for other women. Please try to be as insightful as possible. The last post was rather vague. Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Take pregnancy test after due date.

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear again!

As I said you above is early to think about pregnancy .
But you will confirm after some days.
You can take a pregnancy test 9 to 10 days after the date that you think you have conceived.

Hence be calm until you do a pregnancy test at home .

All the best and be calm
