Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX

I'm sorry to hear about your sister's diagnosis and your current physical ailments. These are tough things to deal with in any setting, let alone when also dealing with depression.

Regarding your balance issues, fatigue, and confusion, these may be multifactorial in nature.

Extreme stress can often cause such problems, as well as any issues with other physiologic systems such as cardiovascular, nervous, or musculoskeletal.

I am concerned to hear about your confusion and memory troubles especially given your sister's diagnosis of dementia.

Please refrain from driving as much as you can for your own and others' safety. Regarding your arthritis, this may benefit from physical therapy and possibly anti-inflammatory medication along with the chiropractic adjustments.

Overall, I highly recommend seeing your physician in person for a physical examination and assessment with possible adjunct testing (such as imaging studies) to discuss these issues.

It may be overwhelming and is certainly a lot to deal with, but starting with a visit to your doctor is a reasonable next first step.

I wish you all the best and hope for your symptoms to improve soon.

Take care,
Dr Galamaga
