Brief Answer: Follows. Detailed Answer: Dear Sir, Thank you for posting your query on HCM. Well looking into your problem I would like to tell you that it could be due to beta blocker that you are getting faintness and light headedness .You should get your blood pressure checked, if you think although allopurinol can also lower BP. The muscle twitching cannot be explained by allopurinol . If you think the drug is troubling you it can be stopped and shifted to febuxostat instead which is a quite safe and effective medicine. You can talk to your rheumatologist regarding this. Take care. Dr. Shruti
