Question: M 31 year old i done my fasting nd pp which comes 223 fasting nd 209 pp . I was taking medicine nd cough syrup from last 1 month , so dis may b reason my blood sugar increases ???

Possibility of diabetes is more if -

- You are obese or overweight. (Body Mass Index BMI more than 25).
- Family history of diabetes.
- Sedentary life style that is lack of physical activity.

This level of blood sugar level confirm diagnosis of Diabetes and requires immediate measures to stop the medicine causing high blood sugar levels or otherwise requires medical management.
