Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

Regarding your concern, I would explain that your symptoms could be related to cervical spondylarthrosis.

Are your symptoms exacerbated by head and neck movements?

Arthritis can affect the entire spinal column, causing pain and different symptoms based on the spinal level affected.

I would recommend consulting with your GP for a careful physical exam and some tests:

-a cervical column and lumbar column X ray study
-some blood lab tests (complete blood count, PCR, sedimentation rate, blood electrolytes, kidney and liver function tests).

An ENT consult coupled with labirynthine tests for an inner ear disorder may be needed if all the above tests result normal.

If cervical spondylarthrosis is confirmed, I would recommend taking antihistamines (mecyclizine, cinnarizine, promethazine teoclate).

You should discuss with your doctor on the above issues.

Hope to have been helpful!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
