What Causes Discharge From The Skin After A Flu Shot?

default
Posted on Wed, 25 Jan 2017
Question: I had a flu shot last week as I have done many times. A few days later I have a large cluster of skin eruptions on the left side of my nose (same side as the shot in the arm) and several smaller eruptions near my lower eye lid. very painful and oozing clear liquid. could the two be related? I have put band aids with Neosporin on the larger area. what else can I do?

Brief Answer:
Skin eruptions

Detailed Answer:
Hi
welcome to healthcaremagic and thanks for putting up the query
as you said that the eruptions are localised, in my opinion they appear to be herpetic eruptions..Please send me the pictures of the lesions so that I can suggest you in a better way..or you should visit a dermatologist
Eruptions due to flu injection are generalized, so probably they are not related.. you are always welcome with any further queries
please follow up with your pictures
wishing you a speedy recovery
thanks and regards
